Description
The position is a non-supervisory position in our Digital Marketing team. This position is responsible for creating and/or customizing content for marketing assets like emails, advertisements, social media posts, infographics, flyers, brochures, presentations, etc. This position will work closely with other members of the digital marketing team, business units, internal graphic designers and communication team, regional colleagues, freelance graphic designers and agencies.
The Content Specialist has the following responsibilities:
· Content Development & Optimization - Develop, write, and refine high-quality content for digital marketing assets including emails, landing/webpages, campaign materials, and ecommerce/product content. Ensure all content is aligned with campaign messaging, audience needs, and brand voice. Optimize content for discoverability and engagement across digital channels using best practices in content structuring and search optimization.
· Ecommerce Content & Product Experience - Develop and maintain ecommerce and product-focused content that supports product discovery, understanding, and conversion.
Create clear, structured, and informative product descriptions, value propositions, and supporting content aligned with user intent and business objectives. Ensure consistency and accuracy across product content, and optimize content presentation for usability and digital experience.
· Campaign Content Execution - Execute content requirements for planned campaigns and ad-hoc initiatives based on defined briefs and timelines. Work closely with campaign managers and content strategy lead to translate requirements into clear, accurate, and effective content deliverables. Ensure consistency, accuracy, and timely delivery across all assigned tasks.
· Content Reusability & Asset Management - Develop content in a modular and reusable format to support scalability across campaigns and channels. Contribute to and leverage structured content repositories, ensuring proper organization, version control, and alignment with content standards. Identify opportunities to reuse and adapt existing content.
· Content Automation & Personalization – Support and implement content automation within marketing platforms (e.g., email marketing, CRM, and campaign management tools). Set up and manage automated content workflows, including audience segmentation, dynamic content insertion, and nurture journeys. Collaborate with campaign and marketing operations teams to enable personalized content experiences based on user behavior, lifecycle stage, and preferences. Ensure content is structured and tagged appropriately to support automation, scalability, and targeted delivery across campaigns.
· Organic Content & Channel Support – Support the development and execution of content for organic channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and thought leadership initiatives. Adapt content formats and messaging for different platforms while maintaining consistency with overall campaign objectives.
· Content Optimization & Continuous Improvement - Review and refine content based on feedback, stakeholder inputs, and performance insights (where available). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve content effectiveness, clarity, and audience engagement over time.
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, or a related field
· 2–5 years of experience in digital content creation or ecommerce content
· Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or scientific content domains
· Strong understanding of SEO/GEO/AEO fundamentals and content optimization for digital discovery
· Experience writing for multiple formats including campaign content, emails, landing pages, and ecommerce/product content
· Ability to interpret briefs and translate them into structured, high-quality content with minimal iterations
· Familiarity with content reuse, modular content approaches, and content management systems
· Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess content performance and optimize accordingly
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to manage multiple deliverables and work collaboratively across teams with minimal supervision

· Exposure to ecommerce content optimization and product-led storytelling
· Experience working with AI-assisted content tools (e.g., content generation, translation, or optimization tools)
· Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO tools like SEMrush, etc.)
· Strong working knowledge with Acquia DAM, Salesforce, for journey builder, dynamic content rendering and real-time personalization logic.
· Experience working within agency or cross-functional marketing environments
